New initiative of Credit-Rating is directed at easing of the crisis’s negative effects
In order to soften the impact of crisis on market participants, Credit-Rating initiates assignment and following publication of counterparty credit ratings to all of the national companies, which already have bond ratings.
The crisis in Ukraine's economy has caused one of the most dangerous developments, which is distrust between market participants. It is now hard to make decisions on investments objectives under today's circumstances. The counterparty credit rating is one of the few instruments, which is a good indicator of company's capacity to meet its obligations. These ratings may be found in the agencys web-site and its corporate journal.
Thus, considering the highly risen investors' and lenders needs in assessment of risks, which may incur under operating activities with their counterparties, Credit-Rating has conducted analysis of key factors, which affect general solvency of companies-bond issuers within its monitoring procedures, and prepared conclusions regarding their credit ratings as obligors. During December 2008 Credit-Rating will compose and publish for free the lists of credit ratings of Ukrainian issuers. The Credit-Rating's policy also encompasses further maintaining two ratings (of counterparty and of bond issue) at value paid for maintaining one rating.
Credit-Rating has today published credit ratings assigned to the companies operating in the agricultural sector:

help to ease the crisis by providing further lending of enterprises, which show the
sufficient level of creditworthiness.
