A Third of Ukrainian Banks May Get No Backing
The process of global capitalization which is to start in the international banking system after adoption of new regulations (Basel III) may substantially change attitude of West European parent structures to its subsidiaries, including those located in Ukraine. In the nearest future the West European shareholders of Ukrainian banks may cut investments into capitals of their subsidiary banks thus forcing them to become profit-generating in the nearest future.
