Credit-Rating upgrades Kviza-Trade`s bonds to uaA

Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today upgraded to uaA from uaA- (uaA minus) the long-term credit rating assigned to UAH20m 3-year bonds (B series) issued by Kiev-based Kviza-Trade LLC (`Issuer` or `company`). The company operates Velyka Kyshenya supermarket chain. To revise the rating Credit-Rating considered Issuer`s financial statements for 2Q and full 1H2007 as well as other inside information furnished by the company.

In the course of the rating`s revision procedure Credit-Rating took into account the fact that Velyka Kyshenya supermarket chain has rapidly been growing during the past year, in fact there was opened 4 hypermarkets and 10 supermarkets in Ukraine and Moldova, which contributes to rise in Issuer`s performance indicators: the goods turnover rose 13 per cent to UAH1.026bn, the company`s assets grew 79 per cent YTD to UAH1.322bn, the net profit rose 37.9x to UAH4.8m as compared to 1H2006.
