Credit-Rating: PARTNER-BANK assigned uaBB
Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today assigned a long-term credit rating of uaBB to Kiev-based PARTNER-BANK LLC (`Bank`). In the course of analysis Credit-Rating considered Bank`s financial statements for 2002-2006 and 1H2007 as well as other inside information furnished by the Bank.
An obligor or a debt liability with uaBB credit rating is characterized with the LOWER THAN SUFFICIENT creditworthiness as compared to other Ukrainian obligors or debt liabilities. This level of creditworthiness is strongly affected by adverse changes in commercial, financial and economic conditions.
Factors maintaining the credit rating
- Bank`s lucrative performance since its foundation.
- High Bank`s stock capitalization.
Factors constraining the credit rating
- High concentrations in Bank`s loan portfolio, which may negatively affect its profitability in the event of difficulties with even a low number of loans; Bank`s tending to crediting companies which operates in certain industries, namely loans to trading companies account for 65 per cent of the Bank`s loan portfolio attributed to legal entities.
- High concentration of Bank`s resource basis on its principal customers, which increases the liquidity risks.
- Bank`s assets and liabilities are unbalanced by redemption terms.
- Being currently infant, the Bank`s risks management system requires further enhancements.
- Bank`s ambitious expansion plans accompanied by low asset and stock profitability.
- Risks of loss of the Bank`s market position, provided that big systemic banks will further augment their market positions.
