Credit-Rating removes Kyivmedpreparat OJSC`s issue rating from Rating Watch List
Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today announced that it removed from Rating Watch List the long-term credit rating assigned to registered coupon bonds (series A) issued by Kiev-based Kyivmedpreparat (`issuer` or `company`) for the amount of UAH30m due Nov. 15, 2010. The rating remains at uaBB. The outlook on the rating has been changed to stable. The company`s core business is production of pharmaceuticals.
This rating action is in response to issuer`s successful restructuring and meeting the approved schedule of redemption of obligations on series A bonds. The term for debt restructuring is 10 months (pursuant to the schedule, the final payment is to be performed in September 2009).
An obligor or a debt liability with uaBB credit rating is characterized with the LOWER THAN SUFFICIENT creditworthiness as compared to other Ukrainian obligors or debt liabilities. This level of creditworthiness is strongly affected by adverse changes in commercial, financial and economic conditions.
Stable outlook indicates that there are no anticipated reasons to change the rating in the course of the year.
Information on all credit ratings assigned in accordance with the National Rating Scale may be found in REUTERS and BLOOMBERG information systems.
