Credit-Rating upgrades Pivdennyi Bank OJSC’s BDR to ‘4’
Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today announced that on May 28, 2009 it upgraded to 4 (high strength) the bank deposit rating assigned to Odessa-based Pivdennyi JSB OJSC (bank).
This rating action was in response to banks capacity to maintain its liquidity on a sufficient level, and by its retained asset quality and performance indicators under volatile economic environment.
The bank deposit rating of 4 (high strength) indicates that the bank is sufficiently reliable, yet being more vulnerable to impact of adverse commercial, financial and economic factors than banks bearing rating '5'. The probability of bank's failure to return deposits is low.
