Credit-Rating: July Saw 2 Defaults of Bonds with Speculative-Grade Ratings
. Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today published statistical data on redemption of bond issues in July 2010 that were previously rated by the agency.
According to prospectuses of the issues, 6 outstanding bond issues for UAH0.33 billion that carry agency’s ratings have matured in July. The issues encompassed 3 issues of housing bonds for UAH0.3 billion and 3 issues of coupon bonds. Of the issues offered for redemption, 2 issues of housing bonds for UAH0.26 billion were not repaid in time. Credit ratings assigned to these issues pertained to speculative grade of the National rating scale. More information may be found in the agency’s web-site.
Credit-Rating agency has operated in the Ukrainian market since 2001 being committed to assignment of the national scale ratings. The agency has assigned 1098 ratings. As of August 1, 2010 Credit-Rating maintains monitoring of 632 ratings, in fact 478 of corporate, 99 of financial and 55 of municipal sectors.
