Credit-Rating: August Saw 1 Default on Bonds With Speculative-Grade Rating
Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today published statistical data on redemption of bond issues in August 2010 that bear agency’s ratings.
According to issue prospectuses 3 rated and outstanding bond issues for overall amount of UAH232m matured in August. The issues included 2 issuances of coupon bonds for the amount of UAH220m, and 1 issuance of housing bonds. Out of the issues offered for redemption,1 issue of coupon bonds for the amount of UAH25m was not repaid on time. Credit-Rating agency has operated in the Ukrainian market since 2001 being committed to assignment of the national scale ratings. The agency has assigned 1099 ratings. As of Sep. 1, 2010 Credit-Rating maintains monitoring of 629 ratings, in fact 476 of corporate, 98 of financial and 55 of municipal sectors..
