Credit-Rating: No Defaults In October
Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today published statistical data on redemption of bonds in October 2010 that carry agency’s ratings. According to issue prospectuses, 4 bond issues in the approximate amount of UAH40m matured in October.
Basing on the data furnished to Credit-Rating, 2 issues for the amount of around UAH14m have been repaid in a timely and full manner, with 1 issue purchased back by the issuer and was not outstanding on the date of its maturity. By the issue of coupon bonds for UAH25m the issuer has not furnished any information concerning the outcome of the bonds’ redemption procedure. The credit rating assigned to this bond issue pertains to speculative grade of the national rating scale.
Credit-Rating agency has operated in the Ukrainian market since 2001 being committed to assignment of the national scale ratings. The agency has assigned 1109 ratings. As of November 1, 2010 Credit-Rating maintains monitoring of 616 ratings, in fact 459 of corporate, 103 of financial and 54 of municipal sectors.
