Credit-Rating confirms the credit rating of Ukrgazbank
Today independent rating agency Credit-Rating, Ltd. confirmed the long term credit rating rank of Ukrgazbank, Kyiv. During rating reevaluation that took place on May 25, the bank’s credit rating was increased to “uaВВВ.” The rating forecast is stable.
The detention of Vadym Liashko, chairman of the Board of Directors of Joint Stock Bank Ukrgazbank, has not influenced the bank’s credit rating at the moment, because the accusations brought against him are not connected with Mr. Lyashko’s activities as chairman of the Board of Directors and prosecutors are not looking into the financial activities of the bank.
According to information received from Ukrgazbank, it is working normally and there has not been a significant decline in deposits. The acting chairman of the bank at the moment is Vice Chairman Yuriy Petrovich Deyneha.
Credit-Rating will follow the situation as it develops.
