Outlook on the rating assigned to Bank “Khreschatyk” OJSC changed from Stable to Developing
Kiev (Credit-Rating) December 15, 2006. “Credit-Rating”, a nationally-recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today affirmed the uaA long-term credit rating assigned to Bank “Kreschatyk” OJSC and changed the Outlook from Stable to Developing. The Developing Outlook shows the possibility for a rating to be changed in the course of the year.
The change in Outlook was influenced by the fact that followed by the additional share issue of the Bank the Head Financial Department of the executive body of Kiev City Council may not keep its control stake, which will lead to change in Bank’s development strategy.
“Credit-Rating” will take into account changes in structure of Bank’s shareholders in further evaluation of creditworthiness of the Bank and its debt obligations.
“Credit-Rating” has also affirmed the uaA long-term credit rating assigned to the Bank’s issue of registered coupon bonds (of E series) for the amount of USD 100m due 16 May 2010 and has changed the Outlook from Stable to Developing.
