«Credit-Rating» agency withdraws the credit rating assigned to bond issue by the city of Zaporizhya following its redemption
"Credit-Rating", a nationally-recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine has today withdrawn the uaA- (uaA minus) long-term credit rating assigned to the bond issue by the city of Zaporizhya for the amount of UAH 25m with the 2 1/2-year original maturity. The rating is withdrawn following the full and timely bonds` redemption.
The uaA rating reflects strong capacity of the Issuer to pay the debt liability given, it may, though, be more vulnerable to adverse changes in economic, financial and business conditions than debt liabilities rated uaAA and uaAAA. The "+" and "-" modifiers denote rating`s relative status within major categories.
The given bonds were issued by the city of Zaporizhya on 1 July 2004 with the amount of UAH 25m. The funds raised were aimed at financing the construction projects and at city`s infrastructure development.
Today the city services the second bond issue (of B, C, D, E series) of UAH 75m with the 5-year original maturity rated uaBBB+ (uaBBB plus), Outlook for the rating is Positive.
